Mohammad Salehi was 14 years old when he came from Iran for treatment. His family was not in a position to raise sufficient funds for his treatment and an appeal was launched to do so. In no time at all a considerable sum was raised for the operation. Unfortunately, Mohammad’s condition deteriorated rapidly and he died before his treatment could even begin. Immediately after Mohammad’s premature death it was decided to create a charitable organization in his memory, to help others with similar medical needs. Hence the Mohammad Salehi Medical Fund was established, on the 13th May 1988, as a registered Uk charity to aid and assist Iranians children in need of medical and surgical intervention. Since the establishment of this charity 400 men, women and children have been helped in obtaining much needed treatment. Thus far, a sum of £950,000 has been raised and spent directly on the treatment for patient in medical need.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our caring and compassionate donors for their support in making this charity work over the past 29 years. Without your valued financial help, our achievements would not have been possible.

Presently, we remain on track to continue delivering this humanitarian assistance to Iranians in need. We hope that we will be able to attract more donors who will join us in providing this aid. Numerous patients are waiting for our help and a prompt response from you will bring hope and ease into their lives. Your contribution will make a difference.
